Brought to you by Jungle Box, PARADISE IN BALI is a two day dnb festival being held at GWK, Bali. This event is designed to give all you Junglists a chance to come together to see some of the worlds finest drum n bass artists under the sun. November 14th and 15th 2010 see’s the first inaugural Paradise launch its way into festival history.

Paradise Tickets go on sale 3rd May with pre release industry tickets from early April. Jungle Box will be bringing you such artists as Makoto, Netsky, Matrix & Futurebound, Utah Jazz, Ragga Twins, Squire and Bungle(live).

With Australasian heavy weight support from WA boys Shock One & Q-Bik, Japan’s DJ Aki representing Malaysia DJ Low and QLD’s very own Kim Dela Hay, there will also be many more international DJs to be announced in coming weeks.

Also featured will be Ragga twins 20th Anniversary special, Utah Jazz’s new album tour & Bungle’s instrumental live show never seen out of Brazil until now.

Paradise will be held in the idyllic surroundings of Bali. Enclosed by enormous limestone pillars with the Garuda figure as a backdrop, the dramatic Lotus Pond area has capacity at 7500, like the ceremonial boulevard of Balinese village.

One of Singapore’s longest serving drum ‘n’ bass posses, Subvert was formed by Chuan and Zul and have been holding parties since 1998. Now among Singapore’s leading drum & bass promoters, their SUBVERSIVE parties at the now defunct Mad Monk’s Bar circa 2003 are, as they say, the stuff of legends.
Subvert was also among the first to book foreign jocks in the Lion City (Aphrodite in 1999 at Nox). Now anchored by Zul, Subvert has helped bring the likes of Friction, Stamina MC, John B, Pendulum, London Elektricity and most recently Logistics and Hospital Records’ Chris Goss to these shores.
Zul – who amuses himself as a journalist at one of Singapore’s leading newspapers when not feeding his unhealthy obsession for records – has spent time as resident at White Label in Hong Kong (regularly working the turntables of Amnesia, Ing, Studio 1, Phi-Bs and Level 27) circa 2001. He has also DJed in London (playing at the acclaimed Hospitality night at the world famous Herbal club in Shoreditch) and toured Asian hot spots Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok while playing alongside Aphrodite, Friction, John B, London Elektricity, Logistics, Sonic, Pendulum, Krust & Die, Cyantific, Tomahawk, Danny Byrd, DJ Dieselboy, MC Messenian, Digital and Teebee.
Nominated for Best DJ at the Motorola SUPER-Style Mix Awards 2007, Zul also collaborates with star Singaporean drum & bass promoters TherapyAsia.

Magnetic Soul is a Drum N Bass Crew in Hong Kong. Our motto is “The Soul of Drum N Bass.”

Magnetic Soul was founded by Cookie in late spring of 2005 upon arriving in Hong Kong and meeting local talented DJs Kay C, JP Lui, and their close friends Ah Fai, Foxy, and Katie Luk – who were looking for an outlet to perpetuate Drum N Bass in Hong Kong.

This quickly evolved into a dynamic group of avid Drum and Bass fans with diverse professional backgrounds. Comprising of resident DJs and Public Relations professionals, the group has since made a name for themselves by making a big impact on Hong Kong music culture. Through years of hard work, Magnetic Soul has received recognition by International booking agencies as being THE promoters who do Drum N Bass in Hong Kong. They also receive recognition by Hong Kong press with numerous event listings, interviews, and named as boundary pushing event organizers in an August 2008 HK Magazine about Hong Kong iconoclasts.

The group is motivated only by the love of the music. Their skill sets are evenly applied for the greater of the group whether it be DJing, graphic design, PR and media relations, web development, experience with booking agencies and music industry, creative design, sound engineering, negotiating with club owners and managers, or good old fashioned hand to hand flyering.

Although, Magnetic Soul had minor changes in their lineup since it’s inception, the core group has always been the focal point. Magnetic Soul claims to be unique event organizers with an unconventional style which is the recipe for their longevity and continued level of quality event production.

From 2005 to 2009, they have produced over 80 quality events. On the International front, they have hosted BBC Radio 1 DJ Fabio and Joker D (UK), Pendulum (Aus) and MC Verse (UK), DJ SUV (UK), Dieselboy and MC Messinan (US), Doc Scott (UK), Marcus Intalex (UK), DJ Fresh (UK), Ed Rush & Optical (UK), Utah Jazz (UK), Randall & Outrage (UK), Makoto (JP) and MC Deeizm (UK), Sonic silver tour (UK), TC1 and stresslevel (UK), Asides (UK), SpectraSoul (UK), ShockOne (Aus), Qbik (Aus), Yomi (UK), Lenzman (NL), MC Dan Stezo (NL), etc.

Magnetic Soul has also hosted top regional talent including Zul (Singapore), DJ Low (Kuala Lumpur), DJ Dragon (Bangkok), T-Base (Bangkok), Celcius (Jakarta), Mael (Chengdu), and Vortex (Singapore).

In addition, Magnetic Soul has organized three charity events and worked with other organizers to be part of the re:locate Asia DnB Tour, French May France touches Hong Kong after party, and the Summer Love Paradise Beach Party.

Loops Collective – is Malaysia Break-beat & Drum n Bass Arena, which was assembled by local prominent talent DJs, Live Acts, Producers, Mcs. The primary objective is to promote drum n bass & break-beat plus organizing an event by providing local and international DJs / Live Acts / Producers, an amateur performers, etc. We intend to create a distinct atmosphere in comparable to other dj collectives, clubs and entertainment outlets with a touch of pure Malaysian presence. Also prevail and expose a new breed of professional DJ’s and educate the public, statistically and influentially, with the possibilities of current and contemporary sounds of drum n bass & Break-beat. ..

JAVABASS is a DRUM N BASS sound system formed in Jakarta, Indonesia, with mission to create a headstrong junglist community and spread the drumz all over da floor. Formed around late 2000, the crew has now comprised of 4 rotating djs with DFMC on the mic. With Phunktion regulers goin into its 3rd year, Javabass has made a mark in the Indonesian underground dance scene where before there are only Trance and House parties. The first parties were the memorable Junglably Loud and Artcore Nation, n then we’re crackin da boundaries in the drum’n'bass scene with parties like Animated Arena, Pressurized, Heavyweight Soundclash, Back2back Session, and also workn on collaboration with other labels/organizers such as Future, Dub Cointainer, Echosystem, 347 and Trolley Mag to bring some of the biggest rave in Indonesia: Higher Level, Rhthym Unity, Implosion (Bandung), Six to Six, Dewata 2001 (Bali) and also Jakarta’s biggest annual rave Jakarta Movement. we also have a few producer that have released single tracks. Our short goal in the mean time is to travel to other places in indonesia as well as asia to rock all da massive out there.

Homebass is a collective of djs, producers and artists. The collective was formed in 1998 by DJ Dragon and Dj Wen and Mc Abu. The philosophy behind HomeBass is to push drum n bass and other forms of leftfeild beats to the thai masses. Now almost reaching its tenth year HomeBass have been busy with producing and organising parties in thailand and through out south east asia. The crew have expanded there musical spectrum to such genres of music such as breakbeat, dub step and hip hop. The crew have also seen new members joining through out the year with Dj Pichy, DJ Conloy, DJ Manabu, graffiti artist Pakorn, Vj salinee and dj hentai being added to the roster. The crew have just released there first compilation cd titled Asia Bass on there own label in may 07. They also are planning to release an E.P and also another compilation later on this year.
